Attleboro Still Rocks

Organizers of first time event, Attleboro Still Rocks, presented a $5,000 donation to On Common Ground Executive Director, Pam Bliss yesterday, a first time recipient as the charitable organization of choice.

We are very honored to be the recipient of the proceeds of such a great event, bringing the community together around the shared experience, finding “common ground: through celebrating the music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.  This generous donation will assist us in providing valuable 1:1 mentoring to adults experiencing poverty in the Attleboro area, seeing lives change for the better one person at a time and creating a “community of connectedness” to one another.

4th Annual People for People Auction a great success!

Our 4th Annual Dinner/Auction & Comedy Show was a great success with nearly 100 guests who created a lively bidding show to entertain us with along with four great comedians.  It was a great way to get out for a bit, create a wonderfully warm time raising funds for our Mentor Center, while allowing us to joke around and forget the snow outside.  Thank you to all our donors who made the Auction such a success, our wonderful Auctioneer and Coordinator Rick and Martha Conti and our talented Emcee/DJ the amazing Nate Adams.  Our appreciation goes out as well to all our volunteers who worked so hard to make this happen.

Chains for Change Raffle Calendar

A big thank you goes out to our Chain store partners who made our raffle calendar possible once again!  It was boosted this year by the sponsorship of Duke Properties who contributed a grand prize of $100 dollars in Lottery Tickets to make it a great fundraiser for On Common Ground!  Their contributions and the ticket takers enabled us to raise $2,000 of much needed funds for the work that we do.  We are so lucky to be supported by your generosity…congratulations to our winners, we hope you are enjoying your prizes!

On Common Ground would like to express our sincere gratitude to the following supporters for their belief in the infinite possibilities of the people we support and the communities who care about them through their generous grants to us ~
